From photography to writing to walking alongside every leader…
I want to support my communities in every way I can.
Meet Tammy
I am passionate about bringing out the best in every client while unveiling the landscape and the community around them.
How do I do that?
In my work as a photographer, I love the beauty found in capturing my client, doing what they love to do in their surrounding landscape.
I love walking alongside every leader to help them reach their full potential -- because their leadership fully impacts their team and organization.
My writing has a consistent theme: a crisis in leadership. I focus on adding in the necessary ingredients to support those involved in that crisis while pointing out the environment these leaders are overlooking.
I am also a singer/songwriter, pianist, and athlete. I love a good drama or book with mystery and strong character development.
Where did it all begin?
For 25 years, I worked with leaders across the University of British Columbia to align research and academic initiatives with the university’s goals. I had the amazing opportunity to work in five different departments in management and leadership roles. I also worked with other university leaders on the Academic Leadership Development Program Planning Team. Throughout my career, I used my background in sociology and coaching to facilitate change and understand how the everyday lives of faculty and staff can be organized for the better.
During my career, I had a range of accomplishments such as implementing a university-wide initiative across multiple campuses, conducting governance and administrative reviews of departments and units, presenting my own analysis of extending learning units to the U15, representing the university at various conferences and workshops, developing leadership studios, developing and implementing an issues management protocol, improving communication channels, leading change initiatives in units, and much, much more.
In 2014, I created my own company, TLB Creations Inc. to support my creative endeavours.
After leaving UBC in 2019, I became a leadership consultant and coach interested in working with leaders who want to be the best leader they can be. This expanded my service offerings.

Where do I work?
My home base is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. But I work wherever I am, either in person or virtually …that goes for both my photography and walking alongside my leadership clients.
